사진가, 디자이너, 애니메이션및 영상디렉터, The Videos (CEO)
회화를 전공하고 사진, 애니메이션, 영상, VR/AR, 3D 아나모픽 미디어아트를 통해 대중에게 다양한 미디어로 보여주는 작업을 해 왔으며, 특히 ’세한도 VR’ 작품은 추사 김정희의 감정을 3D 그래픽, 음악, 향수를 함께 경험할 수 있는 전시로 많은 관심을 받았다. 현재는 종로 서촌에서 스튜디오를 운영하며 영상, 콘텐츠 제작 그리고 작업의 과정에서 즐거움을 알게 한 회화 작업으로 다시 돌아오게 되었다.

남겨진 흔적 (The Sticky Traces)
오랜만에 그림을 그린다.
예전처럼 잘 그리고 싶었고, 사람들에게 잘 보이고 싶었다.
하지만 욕심은 시작조차 힘들게 만들었다.
"그림은 잘 그리든, 못 그리든 그저 그림일 뿐이야"
아이들의 그림은 맹목적이다. 그림을 그리는 즐거움이 느껴진다.
누구의 시선도 의식하지 않고 있는 그대로 보여주는 편안하고 자유로운 그림이다.
아이의 그림을 따라 그리면서 그 위에 스티커 형태를 그리게 되었다.
아이가 있는 집이라면 벽에 스티커 흔적 하나쯤은 가지고 있다.
떼어 내고도 여전히 남아있는 끈적한 자국은
나와 아이가 겪고 있는 스트레스의 흔적처럼 느껴졌다.
누군가는 붙이고 싶고, 다른 이는 그것을 떼어내려는 흔적이 곳곳에 남아있다.
좋은 관계를 유지하려는 강박은 상대에게 무언가를 요구하게 만든다.
‘당신한테 잘 해줬는데 그럼 당신은?’
결과를 바라는 마음에서 서로의 불편함이 보이기 시작한다.
떼어지지 않는 끈적한 흔적은 사람과의 관계 속에서부터
환경을 파괴하는 모습까지 주변 곳곳에 볼 수 있다.
그것이 지금... 남겨진 흔적을 보여주는 얼굴이다.

Artist's Statement
The Sticky Traces
It's been a while since I drew a picture.
I wanted to draw it as well as before, and I wanted to look good to people.
But it was hard to even start because of my greed.
"Whether you draw it well or not, it's just a picture."
Children's painting has no purpose. You can feel the joy of painting.
It's a comfortable and free painting that shows you who you are without being conscious of anyone's gaze.
I drew stickers while drawing.
If it's a house with a child, there's at least one sticker mark on the wall.

It felt like a sign of the stress my child and I were going through.
Some people are trying to stick it, others are trying to pull it off.
The compulsion to maintain a good relationship makes the other person ask for something.
"I've been nice to you, but what about you?"
In the hope of results, we begin to see each other's discomfort.
The Sticky traces can be found in many places, from relationships with people to ways to destroy the environment.
That's... It's a face that shows the traces left behind.
