[작가노트]
작업실에서 하루종일이다.
작업과 함께인 시간속에서 음악을 듣고있다 보면, 어느 순간 나는
나를 잊고 있었다.
감정이 해석되기도 전에 이미 어디론가 흘러 들고 있었기 때문이다.
그 시작은 마치 숨과 같다.
의식하지 않아도 찾아오고, 의식하는 순간 사라질 것 같은 미묘한 것.
나는 그런 순간(Moment)을 그리고 싶었다.
겉으로는 침묵하지만, 안으로는 깊게 진동하는 감정의 파장.
색들은 음의 결을 따라 움직이고, 모래는 기억의 입자처럼 화면에
박힌다. 그 안에 음악이 스며든다.
이번 전시는 내가 들어온 감정의 결을, 내가 걸었던 내면의 풍경을,
그리고 내가 클래식 음악에 스며들었던 흔적들과 함께 순간들을 담았다.
나는 여전히 음악을 그린다. 그림을 그리는 손끝이,
마치 첼로의 활을 긋는 듯 조심스레. 피아노의 페달을 밟듯,
천천히, 그리고 다정하게. 브드럽게...사랑을 하듯
우리모두에도 나의 작업들이 한 줄의 선율처럼 숨처럼 스며들기를
바라며...오늘도 미친 듯 멈춤없이

[Artist Statement]
I've spent the entire day in my studio.
As I work, music plays in the background—
and at some point, I realize
I've forgotten myself.
Before my emotions can be understood,
they’ve already drifted elsewhere.
It begins like a breath—
subtle, almost imperceptible.
It arrives without intention,
and the moment you notice it,
it seems to vanish.
I wanted to paint that kind of moment.
A silence on the surface,
but beneath it, the deep resonance of emotion.
Colors follow the grain of sound,
sand settles on the canvas like particles of memory.
Music seeps into it all.
This exhibition holds the textures of my emotions,
the inner landscapes I've walked,
and the traces of myself absorbed into classical music.
I still paint to music.
My brush moves like the bow of a cello,
gentle, deliberate—
like pressing a piano pedal with care.
Slowly, tenderly,
as if falling in love.
I hope my work lingers in you,
like a breath,
like a quiet melody.
Today, once again, I paint madly, without pause…
