작가노트
외로운 사람들, 우울한 사람들을 어디서든 쉽게 볼 수 있습니다. 인터넷과 SNS의 발달, 전염병으로 인한 사회의 변화 속에서, 우리는 아주 멀리 있는 세상의 사람들까지 무엇을 하고 사는지 더 잘 알 수 있습니다. 반면에 가까웠던 것들, 옆에 있는 사람들을 쉽게 잊고 살아갑니다.
옆에 누가 살고 있는지 모를 때도, 귀찮고 화가 날 때도 많지만 우린 태어나는 순간부터 누군가의 도움이 필요한, 서로가 서로 없이는 살아갈 수 없는 존재들입니다.
냉정한 사회 속 치열한 경쟁에, 누군가는 밀려 나갈 수밖에 없대도 밀려나는 사람도, 자리를 양보하는 사람도 있기에 빈자리가 생겨납니다. 자리와 돈, 우린 많은 것을 이루고 만들었지만, 우리가 마지막까지 갖고 있을 수 있는 것은 없습니다. 우리가 가진 것은 우리들 밖에는 없습니다.
서로가 서로에게
퇴근길, 축 처진 어깨에 축 처진 어깨를 대어 맞대고 있는 사람들,
그 사람들은 서로의 어깨로
그늘을 만들어, 숲이 되고
그 숲에서 생명이 태어납니다.
잎과 잎이 만나고 나무들이 모여 숲이 되는 것처럼
우거진 어깨들로, 사람에 사람들로,
보시는 분들이 항상 어깨에 어깨들 속에서
소중한 사람들의 어깨를 생각해 보실 수 있길 바라며,
사람들의 어깨와 닮은 형상을 제 그림들에 남겼습니다.
사람은 무엇으로 사는가
사람은 사람으로 살아갑니다.

Artist Statement
Lonely people and depressed people can be easily seen anywhere. With the development of the Internet and SNS, and changes in society due to infectious diseases, we can better understand what people, even those in far-off places in the world, do and live. On the other hand, It is easy to forget the things that were close to you and the people next to you.
There are times when we don't know who lives next to us, and there are times when we feel annoyed and angry, but we are beings who need someone's help from the moment we are born and cannot live without each other.
In Fierce Competition in a cold society, some people have no choice but to be pushed out, but some people are pushed out and others give up their seats, so empty seats are created. Position and money, we have achieved and created many things, but there is nothing we can keep until the end. Each other is all we have.
To each other,
On the way home from work, people rubbing their tired shoulders against each other,
Those people are on each other's shoulders
Make a shade, become a forest
Life is born in the forest.
Like leaves and leaves meet and trees come together to become a forest
With lush shoulders, people to people,
I hope that viewers will always be able to think about the shoulders of precious people in their shoulders, I left a figure in my paintings that resembles the shoulders of people.
