​

삶이란 무엇일까?

​

사전적으로는 ‘사는 일 또는 살아있음’으로 정의된다.
사람들은 인생을 각자의 방식대로 살아간다. 모두 다른 사람들이기 때문이다.
하지만 각박한 사회 속에서 어느 새 우리는 각자의 삶을 살아가기 보다는 안정적인 것을 위해 많은 것을 포기하고 살아가게 되었다. 
그렇게 자신이 원하는 것을 하기보다는 남들이 많이 선택한 방향으로 나아간다.
결국 자신을 잃어버린 채 삶을 살아가고, 그 끝에는 무엇이 남을까?

“Who's story..it's...”는 그러한 삶을 살아가면서 누군가의 이야기이자 N.Po가 느끼는 감정들에 관한 이야기의 전시이다.
앞서 했었던 전시들과 같이 이번 전시작품들 또한  N포 세대의 자아 정체성을 상실하고 획일화된 삶을 살아가는 현대인들을 표현한 것이다.

이를 통해 사람들에게  자신의 자아정체성 확립과 자신의 삶을 살아감에 있어 진정으로 원하는 것이 무엇이었는가에 대한 깊은 사색을 유도하고자 한다.

Artist Statement​

​

What is life?

​

The dictionary defines 'life as work or being alive'.
People live their lives in their own ways. Because they are all different people.
However, in a harsh society, we have given up a lot of things for the sake of being stable rather than living our own. 
Rather than doing what they want, they move in the direction that others choose.
After all, you live your life with yourself lost, and what remains at the end of it?

Who's story...It's..."  is someone's story and an exhibition of N.Po's feelings in such a life.
Like previous exhibitions, the exhibits also express modern people who have lost their identity and lead a uniform life of the Npo generation.

Through this, he hopes to induce people to think deeply about what he really wanted in establishing his self-identity and living his own.
